Chef Elliot Spurdle (ex Wolseley, Delaunay) has developed a menu based on the finest seasonal ingredients from around Britain, at affordable prices. Taking inspiration from traditional London cafes, but with the highest standard of food and comfort, OQS emerged from the heritage of the area. With political magazine UnHerd upstairs, and the Palace of Westminster just over the road, heritage is everywhere — look out for Winston Churchill’s floorboards from the Old War Office, rows of books and our collection of Martin Parr photographs of English life. On the second floor of Old Queen Street Cafe we’ve got some fantastic spaces where you can host your event. With capacity for 40 seated or up to 100 standing, you’re welcome to join us for an intimate sit-down dinner, host your business events with a panel setup or let us help you celebrate your significant life events, such as weddings, baptisms, and birthday parties. 

We will help you design the event with our experienced team, caring for every detail to deliver the perfect experience for you and your guests.
