Old Queen Street Café offers private events within a Georgian townhouse in Westminster, just moments from Westminster Abbey and St James’s Park.
It’s a setting designed for private dining, corporate gatherings and celebrations where food, conversation and time together matter. From long lunches and board dinners to drinks receptions that carry into the evening, events here feel unhurried and intentional.
Rather than a fixed format, each occasion is shaped around the people in the room.
The house and rooms
Private events take place across a collection of characterful rooms on the upper floors of the house.
Each space retains the charm and proportions of the original Georgian architecture, creating a series of intimate settings that feel connected yet distinct.
Rooms may be hired individually or together, allowing for flexibility in guest numbers and a natural flow from drinks to dining. Whether you are planning a seated private dinner, a corporate lunch in Westminster, or a standing reception, the house adapts to the scale and rhythm of your event.
THE LIBRARY
Our largest event space is the Library, which can accommodate 48 guests for a seated meal and up to 100 guests for a standing event. We can also set this room up for panels.
THE CLUB BAR
The Club Bar can accommodate up to 20 standing guests, or 10 people for a seated event. It can be hired in conjunction with the Library to maximise space, or be used as a break out area.
THE MUSTARD ROOM
Our Mustard Room is found on the second floor and can accommodate 12 seated guests, or 25 standing guests.
